"I am full of praise for my experience with Tony’s coaching style, he has walked beside me and mentored and guided me through difficult spots in my days. I am in a completely different space now since my experience with Tony, he has an enthusiastic and passionate approach to his coaching and he has a “way” of really making me understand what I need to do to change my life. He is compassionate and at times forthright he doesn’t hide from the tough decisions, he calls me on things and stands up to me that is what I want in a coach. I feel with Tony that he is approachable and real about his coaching he often goes beyond the call to ensure that you are not left floundering; his instructions are always clear and precise. When you connect with your coach, you go places, miracles happen" Gabriele Mercuri
Tony Burns DipEd, BA, MA is a highly sort after success coach. He has a never ending zest for life and an undying passion to make a difference in people’s lives by creating the life one was born to live. A life that is based on their true nature rather than a life built and planned from their conditioning. Its a life based on what matters most, what gives a person a bounce in their step. Tony has realised his ‘calling’ to be a ‘change agent’ by teaching, inspiring and facilitating positive change in people’s lives.
Over the years he has always been involved in inspiring, teaching and helping others. Early in his career he started his nursing training which lead him into midwifery and teaching. Tony then spent the next 25 years working in the health industry.
Tony worked his way up through the different levels of management and teaching which lead him to his last role within the health industry, Director of Nursing /Chief executive officer. Throughout his 25 years in health he undertook and completed various university qualifications including a Master’s degree in business management to secure a more enhanced job satisfaction. Tony’s quest for high achievement took its toll on his personal relationships as well as his own well being. Although he had achieved great success in the health industry and there were many times of satisfaction and joy particularly delivering babies into the world, he found he needed to review his life direction.
In early 2000 after much consideration and contemplation on his life direction he left the health industry to pursue another dream of running his own business in Sydney, Australia which was very successful. However he felt his life was still lacking purpose he again found himself heading towards high success but with little life balance and contentment.
After years of focusing on achieving success in his career Tony came to a point in his life that he really needed more joy and connection in his life, not only with others but with himself. The striving for success he realised, did not leave him much room for true happiness and ultimately, a life based on his true nature. It was then he opted to look at a personal development program and stumbled upon the work embodied in The Magician’s Way which was created by William Whitecloud. After completing a series of short 3 and 8 day programs plus two year long teacher training programmes, Tony found the missing link in his quest for a passionate life. Undertaking this transformational work led him to a place where he is cognisant of the importance of creating a balanced, authentic and loving life based on his inherent right to live his true nature and purpose. “What drives me is helping people to realise their true nature and purpose and then create a life they love from that."
Today,Tony’s life is unrecognizable compared to where he was a few years ago. Not only has he created an amazing relationship based on love, compassion and understanding with a beautiful woman, he is doing what he really loves, facilitating positive change in others and making a difference to their world by expanding their vision of their true self.
Tony has a great circle of loving and supportive friends that he shares and connects with on a regular basis, rather than living life from his intellect, which nursing and academia ultimately lead to, Tony now finds himself expressing his heart and his creativity through writing, coaching others and teaching. He lives on a magnificent rural retreat that keeps him connected to the natural environment and at this time in his life journey he can own the fact that he is aligned with his true nature and purpose.
